The Oddities Flea Market curated by Ryan Matthew Cohn is returning for the holidays! We are thrilled about the results of our early entry and two day event, so we are continuing to host a weekend long event with VIP early entry tickets. Inside, you’ll find a wonderful assemblage of vendors bringing you all sorts of peculiar items for holiday gift list! Feast your eyes on medical history ephemera, anatomical curiosities, natural history items, osteological specimens, taxidermy, jewelry, one of a kind art, bizarre flair, and more. For this market exclusively we are featuring special fashion designers and beauty products from a variety of businesses around the country. We are sure you’ll find something for that friend or family that is dark at heart. Added to the excitement we will have special appearances from our favorite holiday characters!
We are proud to present that we are working with the charity Housing Works Inc.! A portion of all VIP and door ticket sales will be going to the charity. As well as donating ticket sales, we are holding a silent auction featuring one of a kind art from vendors throughout the weekend.
The event begins for the general public at 12PM on both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are CASH ONLY, $5 at the door. Children 10 and under are free.
Location: Brooklyn Bazaar on 150 Greenpoint Ave, Brooklyn NY 11222
To access the event before the crowds on both dates we are offering a limited amount of VIP tickets via Atlas Obscura. This $20 ticket offers you early entry at 11:00am. You will skip the lines, avoid the crowds, and have early access to the best selections of goods by 55 vendors! Please click the link below to purchase tickets:
Brooklyn Bazaar also has a plethora of amazing offerings. Our event will feature three floors of vendors, two ATMs on site (most vendors DO accept credit cards & cash), The “Golden Brown” restaurant, and three bars with specialty drinks! Restrooms are located on both the upper floor & Lower level. There are no restrooms on the main floor.
This event closes its doors to incoming visitors at 5:30PM SHARP to make sure that all of the visitors already inside are able to make their final purchases and exit. Please take this into consideration when planning your visit.
Please note, we are no longer accepting applications for this event. For future market inquiries please email firstname.lastname@example.org for an application.
